Good evening. This message is for ALL parents of ALL students at Coshocton City Schools. Due to the recent school closings and disruptions over the last several weeks, Coshocton City Schools is cancelling the two-hour early dismissal for next Wednesday, February 16, 2022. We hope this will get everyone back to a better routine and gather some momentum as spring approaches. Again, both schools will operate on a regular school day on Wednesday, February 16th. The early dismissal has been cancelled. Buses will run at their regular times. Please contact the district office or individual buildings with any questions. Thank you and have a good evening!
SUCKER SALE IS EXTENDED: Due to calamity days we have extended the CES Sucker Sale. All orders due by Monday Feb. 14th. All You Need is Love……And a sucker! The CES Student Council is hosting their Annual Valentine’s Sucker Sale! Suckers are only $1.00! Send them to your children and tell them how much you love them or let your kids send them to their friends, teachers or support staff to show them how much they mean to them! Forms have been sent home and more are available from their teachers, main office or Mrs. Kimberley.

Friendly Reminder: Weather permitting many of our First and Third Grade Students will be traveling to The Johnson Humrickhouse Museum this week. Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 8th, Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Hawn’s classes will be going on the field trip from 9:15-11am. If you DO NOT wish your child to attend please send a note stating this fact with your child tomorrow.
All Sophomore students will be visiting the Career Center on Thursday, Feb 10. Paper copies of a permission slip will be distributed at school tomorrow and an electronic copy was emailed to all sophomore students today. Students must return the permission slip by the end of the school day on Wednesday, Feb 9. Thank you!

This means all students need to log into their Chromebooks to check Google Classroom and their school Email for their assignments that they will complete at home. These assignments are mandatory and will be collected when we return to CHS. Students should Email their teachers directly with any questions.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE HAD SIX (6) SNOW DAYS. Snow Days #1-#5-These days were built into our schedule as Calamity Days. Snow Days #6-#8-These are our three Blizzard Bag Days (students need to turn in completed assignments for attendance credit.) Grades K-2 will use “work bags” already sent home in preparation for these days. Students in grades 3-6 check Google Classroom & your email for assignments. Snow Days #9, #10-These will be Blended Learning (Remote) days for students. Grades K-2 will use “work bags”(coming home Mon, Feb 7th). Grades 3-6 will log into their Chromebooks to check Google Classroom & your school email for assignments. Snow Days #11 & beyond will be announced at a later date. Please call us with any questions!

Future Calamity Day Plans: *Days 9-10 →We will have ‘Blended Learning’ days where students will complete assignments on their Chromebooks at home. Teachers will be available from 7:15am-2:35pm for support via email. *Days 11 (any beyond)→The plans for these days will be announced at a later time.
