Have a great weekend and GO SKINS!!!
Christmas is over, but hunger never stops. Our food bank needs our help and what a better way than by celebrating our Bucks and bringing in your bucks for the food bank. In honor of Ohio State Buckeyes playing in the National Championship on Monday, we are celebrating by wearing our OSU gear (if you have it) and by bringing in a buck or more on Monday to help fight hunger in our home town and LET’S GO BUCKS!!!! This event is brought to you by the CES Student Council.
Hello, this is Dave Hire, Superintendent of the Coshocton City Schools, with several important announcements for all parents and staff.
First, the Coshocton City Schools will plan to return to our full-time face-to-face instruction next Monday, January 11th. Full-time remote learning students will continue with remote learning. We have had low incident rates related to COVID-19 in our buildings, and after consultation with the City Health Department we have made the determination to return to full-time for our face-to-face learning. We will continue with our safety and cleaning protocols, as well as continue to monitor the health situations in our buildings. New quarantine guidelines from the Ohio Department of Health will also allow students and staff to continue to attend school under certain conditions, as long as protocols are followed. It will remain critical that everyone properly wears a mask.
Second, just as a reminder, there is no school for all students (both face-to-face and remote students) next Friday, January 15th, due to a Teacher In-Service Day. There is also no school for all students on the following Monday, January 18th due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Again, we will return to full-time face-to-face instruction next week for all face-to-face students. I appreciate your flexibility as we work through this difficult year.
Thank you for your attention to this notification and have a good evening!

Hello, this is Dave Hire, Superintendent of the Coshocton City Schools, with several announcements for all elementary parents and staff.
First, just a quick reminder that we will be on our modified schedule when we return to school after the Christmas Break, beginning on Monday, January 4th with all students on a Remote Learning Day. Please know that while we will make every effort to keep our doors open, there is always the possibility of needing to go to a fully remote situation after the break if our county goes to a “Purple” designation, or due to staffing issues and the availability of substitute teachers. We will keep our eye on this situation and let you know of any changes as soon as possible. As always, our scheduling plans can be found at the top of our website, so please be sure to check for any updates during the Holiday Break.
Second, we have received information about one additional confirmed case of COVID-19 in a student or staff member at Coshocton Elementary School. We continue to work closely with the City Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by the health department as a part of a COVID-19 investigation.
A letter has been posted on our school website under the COVID-19 Information tab.
Enjoy your Christmas Break and Have a Happy New Year! We look forward to having students back to school after the break. Have a great evening!
Hello. This is Tony Meiser, Assistant Principal and your Remote Learning contact with a message for all remote learners.
As the holiday season is upon us I wanted to reach out and share how proud I am of each and every one of you for your dedication and perseverance this semester as we navigated through this new way of learning together. We have accomplished a great deal to this point and have overcome many obstacles along the way!
With your break nearing I hope you can take time to celebrate safely and enjoy your family in person or virtually. If you get the opportunity, bundle up, walk away from the computer screen and take a stroll outside to breathe in the fresh winter air.
I wish you a joyous and restful holiday season with the hopes that you will be blessed with health and happiness in the coming year.

Virtual Blood Drive
Contact information: Laura Roberts, RN
(740) 622-5514 ext. 3008
During the coronavirus pandemic, donated blood is needed more than ever. Donating blood products is essential to community health and the need for blood products is constant. The American Red Cross provides a scholarship every year to a deserving high school senior. Because of the pandemic this year, we are not able to hold our typical blood drives. We need your help!! Anyone 16 years (with parents’ permission) or older can donate blood locally anywhere there is a blood drive being held. Your teachers, your coaches, your neighbors, your parents, grandparents, any family members and friends can also donate and help out CHS! They do not even have to live in Coshocton. They can live anywhere! If you know anyone living in Florida, South Carolina, Texas, Columbus, Cleveland, or ANYWHERE in the United States where there is a Red Cross blood drive, they can help CHS by using our link to sign up and donate. They must use the link below donate. This link will also be posted on our website and social media.

If you have a new address, email address, or phone number please make sure to include that in your update.
If you have any questions or need your login and/or password information, please contact your student’s building.
