2-HOUR EARLY DISMISSAL TODAY: Coshocton Elementary School is on a 2-hour early release today due to staff in-service. Parent pick-ups will be dismissed between 1:05-1:23 pm. Buses will arrive at the bus stops 2 hours early. Any changes made to end-of-the-day arrangements must be made in writing via a note to the teacher/office.

Coshocton City Schools will be on a 2 hour delay tomorrow morning, January 25th. We will re-assess the road conditions in the morning in case we need to cancel school. At this time we are on a 2 hour delay due to the winter weather advisory. Also, there will be no morning GEARS program before school tomorrow.

Just a reminder due to an increase in parents requesting early dismissal each day and staff restrictions, GEARS after-school program will adhere to one early dismissal time each day, starting Monday, January 23, 2023. After much consideration, it has been determined that the early dismissal time will be 5:00 PM. If 5:00 pm does not accommodate your family, then your student(s) will need to go home at regular school dismissal time for that day.

The administration team at Coshocton City Schools is seeking additional input to help guide the Board of Education's decision to pursue a specific facilities master plan. This announcement follows a preliminary community survey that was conducted in December 2022. The questions in Survey #2 are different than those in Survey #1, focusing on each of the master plan options that were developed by the district’s Community Advisory Team.
