Celebrating Final Milestones and Embracing Summer at Coshocton City Schools https://5il.co/2pqpq
As we enjoy the first few weeks of summer break, I find myself reflecting on our outstanding achievements from the school year, especially the memorable milestones at the very end: graduation and the remarkable success of our track team.
Our graduation ceremony was a standout event, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another for our seniors. The Class of 2024 turned their tassels, symbolizing their hard-earned transition from high school to the next exciting phase of their lives. This milestone represents not just the culmination of years of dedication but also the start of a promising future for each graduate.
The track team’s achievements also stand out as a highlight of this past year. Aiden Braxton’s impressive leap of 6 '4'’ secured him an All-Ohio sixth-place finish on the podium at the State Track Meet, an outstanding way to cap off his senior year. Meanwhile, Riley Woodie, Israel Rice, Antwone Johns, and Logan Wince also qualified for the state meet and made their mark with a record-breaking 4x100 relay time of 43.18, earning them a place in our school’s history books. Their season was filled with memorable moments and will be remembered for years to come.
Even though school is out, our campus remains a vibrant hub of activity. Summer school sessions, various camps, and essential maintenance projects are keeping the spirit of learning and improvement alive.
I wish everyone a summer full of relaxation, fun, and meaningful time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming you back in August, ready to embark on another exciting school year.
Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of what makes Coshocton City Schools such a wonderful community.
With gratitude,
Mark Kowalski
